Programme Overview

This course is to ensure the confined space gas tester have sufficient knowledge to conduct gas test for oxygen levels, flammable and toxic gases safely. This training module also equips the candidate with the knowledge to conduct gas testing within the confined spaces and awareness of associated confined space hazards. Candidates also will be trained on relevant legislative requirements, gas measuring and monitoring equipment and documenting gas test results.


Objectives

The aim of the training is to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge of the hazards for working in confined spaces, safe use of tools and equipment, control of hazards and developing an emergency procedure.
