Love chocolate? Learn the art of chocolate-making and create your own signature chocolate brownie, pecan caramel bar, and chocolate truffles and much more with this course. The exclusive masterclass includes hands-on instruction with one of our head chefs in small intimate groups. You’ll take home not only a new range of skills but a renewed passion for chocolates. In this workshop, you will learn the significance of chocolate, and enrich your knowledge about the different ways of chocolate making. You'll be working on the dark and milk chocolate with scrumptious fillings. Our certified instructor will guide you through the step-by-step process and techniques of creating perfect chocolates such as bonbons and bars using molds. Enhances your skills and finds inspiration for serving the best treats to family and friends.
Objectives

In this interactive workshop, the participants would be able to -

  • Discover the different types of chocolates and what makes each one unique and special.
  • Learn how to temper and mould chocolates; 
  • Try the different chocolates made by the Chef and make a couple of your own
Methodology

This hands-on workshop will begin with a chocolate tasting, leading on to an overview of various chocolate-making techniques. You will learn about the importance of tempering and be given the opportunity to try it as you work in pairs to create delicious products including:

  • Chocolate bars
  • Truffles
  • Ganache
  • Salted caramels
Course Outline

This course would cover the following - 

  • How to melt and temper chocolate
  • How to make a plain and flavoured chocolate bar
  • How to make dry fruit, crunchy, butterscotch, walnut, rum n raisin chocolate bar
  • How to make chocolate shells
  • Method of making soft centres ( vanilla, coconut )
  • Method of making hard centres ( coffee, pineapple )
  • The basic packaging of chocolates
