OSHA Material Handling and Storage
Programme Overview

This course provides training for employees to safely handle, lift, and move materials in the workplace, manually or with mechanical equipment. Employees develop a basic understanding of safe work practices for materials handling, including safely working with or around special materials handling equipment.

Methodology

We'll talk about the major causes of storage-related injuries and explain the best ways to avoid them through practical learning experiences. You'll also learn safety measures for operating mechanical handling devices. We'll cover cranes, slings, crawlers, derricks, powered industrial trucks, and more.
